Pakistani model and actress Nadia Hussain has said that she has never done any work for her husband, it is not the duty of the wife to do the work of her husband.
Recently, in a program on private channel ARY News, Nadia Hussain discussed various topics including her career and personal life.
A video clip of Nadia Hussain’s response to her husband’s work in the program is going viral on social media, while Nadia Hussain herself shared the video clip on her Instagram account.
As can be seen in the video, the host of the show asked Nadia Hussain, “Is it the duty of a woman to do the work of her husband?”
Responding to this, Nadia Hussain said that it is not the duty of a woman to do the work of her husband.
The host then asks her, “Have you ever done your husband’s work?” So Nadia Hussain replied, “I have never done anything for my husband because he is not my child but my life partner.”
To this, the host said, “In our society, a woman does all the work for a man, whether she is a mother, a sister, a wife or a daughter, and if a man does his own thing, it is considered bad.”
To which Nadia Hussain says, “This is completely wrong and I have not brought up my children as our society wants women to do all the work of men.”
The model added, “It is not wrong for a wife to give food to her husband, but it is wrong for a husband to order his wife to do his work.
Nadia Hussain said, “I am against the idea that the wife should do her work first and then do the same on her husband’s orders.”
Earlier in July, a video of Nadia Hussain went viral in which she was seen scolding a housemaid and shouting at her.
Hussein later issued an explanatory statement regarding the video, saying that the viral video of scolding the maid was part of a campaign.
