Dua Zahra, who went missing from Karachi, was found in Lahore. A statement of 14-year-old Dua Zahra has also come to light in which she said that she came to Lahore from Karachi of her own free will.
Police officials say that Dua Zahra has got married and the boy she is married to belongs to Lahore.
Besides, Dua Zahra has now been taken into custody by Lahore Police and Lahore Police is in constant touch with Karachi Police in this regard.
According to details, police raided Sanghar in the case of abduction of Dua Zahra from Karachi. During the raid, Dua Zahra was not found but another minor girl was recovered.
Police say details are being obtained as to which city the girl belongs to and who, and the initial statement of the girl is being recorded.
Police said the raid was carried out on a tip-off about the presence of Dua Zahra.
The father of a 14-year-old girl who was abducted from Al-Falah area in Karachi yesterday, while receiving a ransom call, had said that he had no enmity with anyone.
The girl’s father had said that he had received ransom calls from two numbers, one from a mobile number and one from a WhatsApp number. He had provided all the details including the two numbers to the police.
Earlier, SSP AVCC had met the father of the missing girl, Zubair Nazir Sheikh had said that AVCC has formed 3 teams, the teams are working on CCTV, roadmap and home. CCTV footage of the area around has been obtained.
The SSP said that they are doing their best for the recovery of the girl child. They are in touch with the affected family.
