That is why if the terrorists were afraid of anyone, it was Chaudhry Aslam. Born in 1967 in Dhodial district, Aslam Chaudhry joined the police force in 1987 as SHO.
Chaudhry Aslam was one of the famous counter-specialists who punished those who caused chaos in the operations from 1992 to 1994 and from 1996 to 1997.
In 2004, Chaudhry Aslam was appointed as the head of the Lyari Task Force.
From 2005 to 2014, Chaudhry Aslam had brought numerous target killers and rioters to justice. The wife said that Chaudhry Sahib never backed down from fulfilling his duty, my sacrifice has been for Chaudhry Sahib since the time we got married. There were operations in 1994 and Chaudhry Sahib did not come home for 18 days. So I took care of the house.
We used to bid farewell to Chaudhry Sahib by handing him over to Allah. In all these situations, I was walking with two families. Caring for mother-in-law, raising children and caring for husband and then taking care of the whole house. I sacrificed myself for Chaudhry Sahib and he sacrificed his life for the sake of his homeland.
Noorin Aslam further said that Chaudhry Sahib had written in his will that sending his three sons and daughter abroad for higher education, if I have to sacrifice my son for the country, I will do it.
Sharing one of his memories, Noorin Aslam said that whenever I used to warn Chaudhry Sahib about the dangers he was facing, Chaudhry Sahib used to say that a day of death is fixed, but you have to protect the children like a tiger and take care of the house. Take care Aslam Chaudhry had made a sacrifice not only for the police but also for the country and the nation which can never be forgotten and future generations will remember his sacrifice.
