The shooting of their upcoming film ‘Nilufer’ has been completed which is produced by Qasim Mehmood and directed by Umar Rasool. The duo of Mahira Khan and Fawad Khan have met for the third time for this project.
The film was announced to be released on Eid-ul-Fitr last year after facing many legal hurdles. However, due to the lockdown, the release of new films across the country was delayed.
It is said to be the most expensive production in the film industry, in which besides Mahra and Fawad, the cast includes Hamza Ali Abbasi, Hamima Malik, Gohar Rashid, Faris Shafi, Shafqat Cheema and Nayyar Ijaz.
