After the recovery of Dua Zahra, Dua Zahra and Zaheer Ahmed were brought in the custody of the police in the court today where the parents of Dua Zahra were also present.
Dua Zahra was rescued from Bahawalnagar yesterday where she was staying, however, she and Zaheer Ahmed were taken into custody by the Punjab police and handed over to Sindh police.
Dua Zahra’s parents were happy that the girl has been rescued but today in court Dua Zahra has admitted that she married Zaheer Ahmed of her own free will. Dua Zahra said that I want to go with my husband,
However, according to media reports, Dua Zahra refused to meet her parents in the court, which made her cry.
Dua Zahra, who came to the court for hearing, was wearing a white chador while her face was also covered with a black veil. On the other hand, Zaheer Ahmed was wearing a face mask.
The court has ordered a medical test to find out the age of Dua Zahra.
