Rawalpindi Express Shoaib Akhtar has announced his resignation in a live show after being insulted by the anchor of a government TV show.
According to details, Rawalpindi Express Shoaib Akhtar, while analyzing Harris Rauf’s excellent bowling against New Zealand, praised the team Lahore Qalandar and coach Aqib Javed who introduced Harris and talked about giving his credit to the player development program.
However, state TV anchor Dr Noman may not have liked the compliment and in response asked cricket star Shoaib Akhtar to leave during the live show.
Before Shoaib Akhtar could say anything, the anchor immediately took a break from the program. However, on his return from the break, Shoaib Akhtar asked the anchor not to apologize. On his refusal, Shoaib Akhtar announced his resignation on a live TV program and left.
While the inappropriate behavior of the state TV anchor is being expressed by social media users.
On the other hand, Shoaib Akhtar has released a video message on the social media site Twitter regarding the incident.
He said that he did not understand why Dr. Noman said that, such an insult to a star on national TV is not appropriate, at the break I guessed what the image will be in front of foreigners, Dr. Noman said that somehow End the issue.
“To end the affair, I said we were joking. I told Dr Noman to apologize, but when he did not apologize, I left the show,” the former fast bowler said.
