Well-known comedian Omar Sharif’s departure abroad for treatment has been delayed due to ill health.
According to Dr Tariq Shehab, Omar Sharif’s blood pressure had dropped during dialysis at the hospital. Omar Sharif was shifted to CCU ward due to ill health.
Omar Sharif has been kept under surveillance for 48 hours. He will be shifted to the ward once he recovers.
Dr. Tariq Shehab said that all arrangements were made by us for his departure to the United States.
The family has appealed to fans to pray for Omar Sharif’s health. His son Jawad Omar has said that his father has been placed in intensive care and his recovery is conditional on his departure to the United States.
According to Hum News, an air ambulance has reached Karachi Airport from Manila to transfer Omar Sharif to the United States. All arrangements have been completed at Karachi Airport. An air ambulance will leave Karachi for the United States after refueling in Germany.
