According to Indian media reports, extremists began to avenge the humiliating defeat at the hands of New Zealand yesterday in the form of not only a trend on social media against Indian captain Virat Kohli but also threats to rape his 10-month-old daughter.
A tweet was shared by a female user on the social networking site Twitter in which she strongly condemned the threats to ra-pe the girl.
It should be noted that India has suffered a humiliating defeat at the hands of Pakistan and New Zealand in two consecutive matches of the mega event after which it seems impossible for the Indian team to reach the semi-finals.
