The Lahore High Court (LHC) has issued a written bail order to accused Amir Sohail alias Rambo in the case of assault on Ayesha Akram in Greater Iqbal Park, Lahore.
The apex court in its written judgment said that there was a delay of 3 days in filing the case of the incident and there was no proper justification for filing the case with a delay of 3 days.
The written verdict said that the accused Rambo was initially made a witness of the occasion, the accused Amir Sahil Rambo was later made an accused through a slanderous statement.
The Lahore High Court has said in a written decision that the trial court will decide the significance of the statement made by Rambo.
In a written decision, the court said that the co-accused in the case have been released on bail, while the accused Rambo has not been found involved in any similar case before.
The Lahore High Court has said in a written decision that the accused Rambo police is not required for further investigation, his case needs further investigation.
In a written decision, the Lahore High Court said that the court’s observation in the bail decision of the accused would not affect the trial case.
It may be recalled that the apex court had yesterday ordered the release of accused Rambo on bail of Rs 1 lakh۔
Ayesha Akram, the victim of Greater Iqbal Park incident, fell from a motorcycle and was injured.
According to Lahore police, Ayesha Akram’s burqa got stuck in the wheel of a motorcycle near Shahdara Toll Plaza due to which she could not maintain her balance and fell down.
Police said that Ayesha Akram suffered a fractured nose bone when she fell from the motorcycle during the accident and also suffered injuries on her body.
According to police, no one tried to harm Ayesha Akram, she was going to the market on a motorcycle with her brother.
It may be recalled that on August 14 this year, Ayesha Akram was attacked by about 200 people at the Minar-e-Pakistan.
